On to other things...
My blog has served its purpose and I'm now on to other things. I'll keep posting just to keep it going for future reference, but my whole deal was to organize my writing on writing, which I've done.
What's it like to be a freelance writer? Find out by reading journal entries, advice, stories, comments, experiences, and more from a writer who's been at it 25+ years.

Ah...well then...goodbye.
Perhaps your next blog will feature a little more personal warmth and a little less mercenary market-writing.
Alas, that is probably unfair, given your stated objectives.
But, when one sees "writer's blog," one thinks of art and feelings and personal expression and style, not necessarily corporate brochure composition.
Just a thought.
Gotta love people who post anonymously so that they can twist the knife without having to suffer the consequences.
Anon? Shut the hell up.
"One" who identifies as a writer would be limiting themselves greatly if "one" did not recognize that there are many distinct types of writing.
Just because you personally don't identify with copywriting doesn't give you the license to judge it less worthy.
I agree with lastewie. Anonymous you totally missed the point of the blog. While there are millions of places to go to read about "art and feelings and personal expression" there is very little information avaiable about how one can turn the art and craft of writing can into a real job. I find the advice practical and very helpful, and your comment is totally off the mark.
